Windpods wind turbines are patented and unique wind harvesting technology for residential and
commercial applications. Windpods operate extremely quietly and may be used in built up residential areas where noise factors often preclude wind turbines. Windpods are also totally scaleable in that the diameter
and length can be customised to suit particular requirements (subject to minimum order quantities).
The Windpods G1 is approximately 450mm in diameter and 2200mm long. Two G1’s are capable of producing 1kw of power in 12.5m/s wind.

Whilst near silent operation and scaleability are major benefits of Windpods technology the
energy return produced on a dollar per watt scale is equal to or better than most wind turbines
currently on the market and can often exceed solar PV installations by significant
amountsdepending on your location. Windpods can work in combination
with a solar PV setup, or as a stand alone installation.

Windpods can harvest wind energy 24 hours a day,
7 days a week without the slightest interruption to
the sun hours of a solar PV installation. If required
Windpods and solar PV can even share some common
electrical equipment, allowing customers to
simultaneously harvest wind and solar energy.
